13 Jun Tallaght Teens invited to summer camps at IT Tallaght
Celeb Chefs and High Tech Gurus of the future head to Tallaght
Teenagers with an eye on establishing culinary and digital media businesses are heading to IT Tallaght as part of special summer camps being supported by the Government. Second level students are being invited to Tallaght to develop culinary and high tech business opportunities as part of a nationwide programme involving 20 colleges and institutions. They will be challenged to develop ideas, products and solutions.
“It is fantastic that IT Tallaght will join other campuses across the country in becoming hubs for the development of future businesses over the summer months”
The Government is giving €250,000 to allow the institutes and colleges to actively work with and encourage 1,000 second level students who have big ideas. In Tallaght the focus is on future culinary and digital media business opportunities. Who knows the next celebrity chef or Silicon Valley breakthrough could be taking the first big step of their career in our community this summer.
The first summer camps will start this week at Dublin City University with the others following across the traditional summer break. For full details https://anyone4science.com/product/teen-camp-2017-tallaght-jul-3-7/
