We must continue to protect Green Areas and Parks
Tallaght has been declared ‘clean to European norms’ according to the latest survey conducted by the business group, Irish Business Against Litter (IBAL).
The findings are a tribute to community groups, volunteers and South Dublin County Council. The fact that Tallaght has maintained its high standing in the latest Irish Business Against Litter survey is a tribute to the hard work of local community groups, volunteers and South Dublin County Council.Tallaght has once again been found to be ‘clean to European norm’ and is ranked 22nd in Ireland keeping up the improvement in the last survey at the start of the year.
Local groups must also continue to have access to funding to support their work.
Huge progress has been made. Now we must ensure that standards are not only maintained but improved even further and Government has a role to make that happen.”
