Future of Policing
The Commission on the Future of Policing in Ireland wants to hear your views on changes to the way policing is carried out in Ireland.
The Commission was established in May 2017 to develop a blueprint for policing. It has been tasked with undertaking an independent, comprehensive examination of all aspects of policing, including all functions currently carried out by An Garda Síochána, as well as the full range of oversight bodies.
The Commission is keen to get as wide a range of views as possible and are inviting members of the public to make submissions by post or by email via its website www.policereform.ie. This is a fantastic opportunity for the people of Dublin South west to have their say on a vital issue that is of local and national importance. The deadline for submissions is 31 January 2018.
